RICH DARK dark chocolate 71% cocoa

Net weight: 1kg (approx 181 x 5.5g napolitains of the specific flavour). Item is packed in fully biodegradable stand-up pouch. 

Tasting notes

First encounter notes of red berries followed by fresh slightly acidic notes, a generous complex taste, finishing with a delicious chocolatey flavour and an excellent melt. The bar is rich, for the dark chocolate lovers.

The Great Taste Awards judges said:

We love the deep rich cocoa aroma, this is a very clean 71% dark chocolate with a long length of cocoa and slight fruitiness of red & black berries, it has character. A rich, fruity chocolate with a good level of sweetness and some pleasant bitter notes. It is smooth and well tempered and has a wide spectrum of flavours that develop on the palate.

Origin

We work with cooperatives certified by Fairtrade including:
Acopagro, El Quinacho, Cacvra and Oro Verde in Peru, Fundopo in The Dominican Republic, Cocabo in Panama and Cooperative Premium Cacao Sambirano CPCS in Madagascar for our cacao. Our cacao is bought directly from the Fairtrade certified cooperatives.

The cacao in this bar comes from Peru and The Dominican Republic.

The cane sugar comes from Asocace in Paraguay and Apoya in Costa Rica and the Bourbon vanilla comes from Komam and Cooppvm in Madagascar.
